The Core Facility is committed to producing monoclonal antibodies for EMBL scientists, EMBO Young Investigators and external clients
The Monoclonal Antibody Core Facility (MACF) has been established to provide service for EMBL, the EMBO Young Investigator Programme and for external clients, generating monoclonal antibody producing hybridomas against novel target antigens.
The immediate objectives of the facility are to make novel hybridoma cell lines against target antigens supplied by:
- EMBL scientists
- Members of the EMBO Young Investigators Programme
- External clients

Deliverables
Up to five IgG secreting cell lines plus 10 mls of culture supernatant from each cell line.
To Request a Project
To start a monoclonal project please check the antigen requirements page, then send an e-mail to us to request an account on the database.
Once you have an account please click on the Request Form link in the left menu . From there you can enter the details of the antigen and the sample you will be sending us. Once this is done just send the sample to:
