Phosphatase Investigation with Chemical Biology Tools
The Köhn Group performs organic synthesis in the fields of (phospho)peptide- and inositol- solid and solution phase chemistry. We also have expertise in peptide and small molecule microarray preparation. The synthesized peptides, inositides and their analogs are applied as substrates and inhibitors for phosphatases using different screening methods. In addition, we perform expressed protein ligation to modify phosphatases in order to study their regulatory mechanisms.
