The course is open to a limited number of 24 participants. We accept only online registration.
Registration types and fees

The registration fee should not be paid before acceptance to the course.
VISA letters:
We do not issue any Visa letters before your acceptance to the course and payment of the registration fee.
Motivation letter submission:
After registering you will be asked to submit your motivation letter. This should contain a statement about current research and a justification of interest in the course. You can submit a motivation letter using the account you've created (email + password). The motivation letter submission link will be found in the confirmation page/ e-mail you will receive after registration.
Before submitting please take into consideration:
- The limit of 2000 characters refers to manually typed text.
- If you copy paste the text, hidden formatting might still be included and you will be informed that your text exceeds the limit of 2000 characters. We recommend copy-pasting it into Notepad and then onto the website.
- Some symbols are not recognized by the tool if they are copy-pasted.
- If you still encounter problems, try changing the web browser.
After the registration deadline expires, a selection will take place and everybody will be informed about the outcome.
EMBO Travel Grants:
There are a limited number of EMBO Travel Grants available for this EMBO practical course. Please indicate your interest for an EMBO Travel Grant when submitting your letter of motivation. During the selection process, there will be a small field to complete your reasons for requesting this EMBO Travel Grant. The recipients of these EMBO Travel Grants will be selected by the scientific organiser during the selection process.
The aim of these grants is to facilitate the participation of those coming from labs located in countries in need of scientific strengthening (whether located within Europe or internationally). Priority is given to selected participants from: Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa and Turkey. If you are awarded an EMBO Travel Grants, you will be notified after the selection process. This is usually 2 months before the conference start date. The conference office will request your bank details and copies of your travel documents and will reimburse you a fixed fee after the course.
